Ogopogo Bed and Breakfast

Located at the far end of Kelowna's Downtown/Cultural District, right across the road from the lake & a small beach. A brisk fifteen minute walk to downtown restaurants & City Park, by way of boardwalk or sidewalks, either way is interesting. The Sunset Suite was everthing we could have asked for. Spacious, comfortable & clean. The common areas of the house are well appointed, tastefully decorated & spotless. The breakfast is to die for. Eat once in the morning, & you are set until dinner. Courtesy bikes, kayak & wifi are available. Parking on site. The hostess, Karen, is very attentive & proud of her B&B, and so she should be. Will repeat. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience at the B&B of Karen. Best B&B we experienced so far - a real hidden treasure. A breakfast to die for (again, the best we had in Canada), an interior which is absolutely charming. Rooms are beautiful, well decorated, clean and calm. Karen has plenty of very good advice and equipment (free bikes and kayak). Makes it easy to explore Kelowna which is very beautiful and allows for sports of all kind. If it was not 7500 km from home, we would come more often.

Sept 2020 Wow - awesome place and very Covid friendly with separate entrances to each suite and separate balconies. Karen even accommodated us to breakfasts separately, and early morning breakfast on our departure day. Beautiful lake view and park across the street. We can’t say enough about the breakfasts as they were 5 stars and so special with using local fruit and veggies. Karen is a wonderful hostess and cook - we loved our visit.

Karen is the hostess with the Mostest!! We stayed with her for a girls weekend and we were treated like royalty they entire time! She has unobstructed lake views and a beautiful beach right across the street to use her free kayaks on as we pleased. She has bikes to use as well which was a great way to get around all the local restaurants and sites! However definitely not needed as everything is within walking distance! She knows all the best places to eat and wineries to go to! And her breakfasts?! Omg. Out of this world!! She’s a gourmet chef to boot!! We most definitely will be back again!!

Karen was an amazing host, and phenomenal cook! She has a gorgeous and quiet B&B, was very personable and had so many great recommendations for activities to do and restaurants to visit. Each of her recommendations ended up being spot on. Karen also cooks breakfasts fit for a king! You won't go hungry with her providing you delicious meals made with ingredients from her garden when they're in season!

This is an amazing place to stay. Karen is an amazing host. She's very knowledgeable of the city and made us feel right at home. Karen had bikes that we were able to borrow and gave us great advice for wineries and places to eat. Also, be prepared to have the best breakfasts of your life!

We stayed here for a weekend getaway in July 2021. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place and the owner, Karen. The place is absolutely spotless! You could eat off the floor it is so clean. The place is beautifully decorated thru and thru. Our room, the Manhattan Suite, was large, gorgeous and with a beautiful deck with a view of the beach. Massive beautiful bathroom with shower and bathtub. Karen was genuine thru and thru and it became very evident that she really really cares for her B&B. Lastly - the breakfasts - DELICIOUS!!!!!!!You will NOT regret staying here!! We will 100% be back.....Thank you Karen for an amazing weekend.......

This was our 7th year staying at the Ogopogo B&B. We plan to continue each year. Karen's hospitality is stellar! Her breakfasts are 5 stars! She also has bikes and a kayak for guests to use and her knowledge of the Kelowna area is limitless. Take her advice for restaurants and attractions, something for everyone. From her welcome at check-in to her hugs at departure you will love your time at her B&B.

Karen’s BnB is amazing! I can’t say enough great things about it. The breakfast was fine dining level fantastic. The room was spacious and spotless, and the bed super comfortable. Karen is such a fantastic host - bending over backwards to do anything to make your stay the most enjoyable. Her place is right across from the beach, and a five minute walk to two of the best restos in town. Karen has bikes for cruising around, chairs for the beach - anything you might need. I highly highly recommend it. We will be back soon!
